Our commitment is to enable children to develop respect for themselves and our community; to be expressive and creative; to use their imagination; to learn confidence, independence, and to HAVE FUN!

 

 

Summer Camp Registration 

We are excited to offer an exciting lineup of activities and special guest throughout the summer! Join us for outdoor play, activities, STEAM and a special guest scheduled each week.

After School Program – Available at our Main location and Cedar Hill Church

We support:

  • Physical health and mental health and wellness
  • Relationship building
  • Individual interests and abilities
  • A safe and inclusive environment

Cost sharing and payment plans available

After school program is a peanut-free environment

The program is made possible through a grant from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.

Seasonal Recreation Programs

Kinbridge offers a variety of seasonal recreation programs for all ages. Our recreation programs are offered at an affordable cost to encourage all children, youth, families and adults to engage in healthy, active and fun activities.

Kinbridge provides various recreation, art, cooking, and leisure activities throughout the year.

P.D. Day Programs

When school is closed on P.D. Days, Kinbridge offers a fun filled day for your children ages 4 to 11 to participate in. We provide themed physical activities, games, and crafts. The day begins at 8:30 a.m. and wraps up by 5:30 p.m. Please call reception for information and registration 519-624-3855.

Strong Start – Get Ready for School

Get Ready for School™ is a program for preschoolers during the six month period before entering Junior Kindergarten. Over the 44 classes, children build vocabulary, learn letter sounds and practice classroom behaviours. The program is particularly beneficial for children who are learning English as a Second Language or are from a low to middle socio-economic background.

Our adult recreation programs are based on the interests and needs expressed from the community. Don’t see what interests you? Or maybe you want to facilitate a program? Contact us, we’ll be creative together and make it available.

Winter, March and Summer Day Camps

Want a great Winter, March or Summer Camp experience for your children? Weekly exciting themes, recreation, arts, science, crafts, activities and trips. Our camps are for children ages 4 to 12. Our summer day camps provide weekly off site water and adventure trips for your children to experience. Your child will have the opportunity to make new friends, experience new adventures and places and develop positive relationships and skills for the future. All day camp staff are High Five trained possessing Principles of Healthy Child Development Certification and First Aid/CPR Certification. Our Leaders in Training (L.I.T.’s) have successfully completed our [lead] (leadership excellence asset development) program.

Senior Recreation Programs

As we age, staying active and engaged with our community can be a challenge. Come visit Kinbridge for a challenging afternoon of cards or be creative in our crafty corner or walk and chat with friends. If you would like to start a program not offered let us know how we can work with you to get it going!

Family Recreation Programs

Families that play together…come out and experience our family activities. Lifelong activity and play is healthy both physically and emotionally.
