Seasonal Recreation Programs
Kinbridge Community Association offers a variety of seasonal recreation programs for all ages. Our recreation programs are offered at a low cost to encourage all children, youth, families and adults to engage in healthy, active and enjoyable activities.

Children and Youth Recreation Programs
Our children and youth recreation programs are based on the five Principles of Healthy Child Development through the High Five Organization. We offer various cooking, baking, dance and arts and crafts classes. All our Recreation program instructors are High Five certified and design and plan all programs based on the following principles:
- Being a caring adult
- Providing the opportunity to make friends
- Providing the opportunity to play
- For participants to have the opportunity to master skills
- For all to have the opportunity to participate
Family Playgroup
This program is offered for children ages 0 to 6 and their parents or guardians to participate together in a variety of activities that will assist in defining your child’s fine motor skills, providing the opportunity for your child to interact with other children as well as allow parents to interact and engage in discussion with other parents.
After School Program
We offer two exciting After School Programs for children in grades 1 to 7 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Elementary School and the John Dolson Recreation Centre beside St. Ambrose Catholic Elementary School. Our two sites operate Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm for the entire school year. We provide exciting physical activities, nutrition education and a healthy snack as well as time to do homework with staff assistance. The program is made possible through a grant from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
P.A. Day Program
When school is closed due to P.A. Days, Kinbridge offers a Day Camp for your children ages 4 to 11 to participate in. We will provide a full day from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm of camp activities, games, and arts and crafts.
Adult Recreation Programs
Our adult recreation programs are based on the interests expressed from the community members and the public. We are currently seeking interested community members and instructors for program ideas and partnerships.
Summer Day Camps
Want a great summer camp experience for your children? Weekly themes, trips and activities.
Beginning in 2015 we will offer four day camps for children ages 4 to 12. Our summer day camps provide weekly off site water and adventure trips for your children to experience. All summer staff are High Five and First Aid/CPR Certified and will provide daily planned fun and exciting games, activities and arts and crafts for your child. Your child will have the opportunity to make new friends, experience new adventures and places and develop positive relationships and skills for the future.
