Peer Health Programs

Fun, Food & Friends

Let’s reduce the isolation and adopt healthy practices!

We enjoy making healthy snacks together and discussing common interests of the group. Guest speakers are invited frequently & online gatherings occur the first Tuesday of the month. Join us every Tuesday from 6-8pm at 8-125 Champlain Blvd.

Walk & Talk

Explore your neighbourhood and establish healthy habits by joining the Walk in the Park program. We encourage all skill levels and ages 18+ to breathe in some fresh air and walk with us.

Join us as we engage in active living with family, neighbours and friends and enjoy refreshments as we stroll through the neighbourhood. We meet every Thursday from 3-4pm at 8-125 Champlain Blvd.

Women’s Food and Friends

Are you a woman from a diverse or ethnic background?

Come along and share your recipes with us! Learn healthy lifestyle management, and socialize with fellow women once a week! No cooking experience necessary. We encourge each other as we bond over cooking while developing friendships.

Join us every Wednesday,  12:30-3:30 at 1-241 Southwood Drive.

Let’s Move!

Struggling to get out of the house and find time in a busy schedule?

Explore low-impact exercise in a friendly atmosphere and learn how to take care of your body while chatting with friends. We will be outdoors if weather-permitting.

Join us every Thursday, 12:30-3:30pm at 1-241 Southwood Drive.

Cuchina Community Connect

Looking for a space to grow together?

Let’s gather together as we enjoy a light lunch, chat and relax! Every other week we will be doing fun activities together such as pot painting, garden stone making, and yoga in the park. We have great things planned!

Join us every Wednesday, 1-2pm at 200 Christopher Drive.

Volunteering

Kinbridge hosts a variety of events and programming  throughout the seasons and is in need of volunteers. From cooking in the kitchen, to setting up and taking down events, to hosting, welcoming or organizing, Kinbridge appreciates it all. Gather some friends and join our volunteering team. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and engage with the community. Contact roseb@kinbridge.ca for more information.
