On a sunny September day, Kinbridge Community Association welcomed over 300 community members, volunteers, and partners to our annual Newcomer Connections Picnic.
This event, held every fall, has become a special tradition in our neighbourhood. It is a time for newcomers to meet their neighbours, discover local services, and feel a sense of belonging here in Cambridge.
As part of Welcoming Week 2025, the picnic celebrated the diversity of our community while creating space for connection, laughter, and shared experiences. Families enjoyed food, activities, and entertainment, while local partners and vendors came together to share resources and strengthen ties with those who are new to the area.
We are deeply grateful to the many volunteers and community members who made this day possible, and to our incredible partners and vendors whose support helps turn an idea into a vibrant and welcoming reality.
At Kinbridge, we believe small actions can create big belonging. The Newcomer Connections Picnic is one of the many ways we continue to build a community where everyone feels at home.
Thank you for joining us. We look forward to welcoming you again next year.
