For almost 30 years, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada’s (TMMC) North Plant has been part of the Cambridge community. Beyond building vehicles, Toyota is committed to giving back through volunteer days and partnerships that strengthen the communities where its employees live and work.
This June, two Toyota volunteer teams joined us at the Cambridge Neighbourhood Table (CNT), helping serve a combined 177 meals to neighbours across Cambridge.
From preparing food and serving dinner to welcoming guests and helping with cleanup, the Toyota team brought incredible energy, teamwork, and kindness to each evening. Their support helped create a warm, welcoming space where neighbours could gather over a nutritious meal, connect with others, and enjoy a sense of belonging.
Their impact was felt behind the scenes as well. Every week, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to make the CNT possible. By stepping in to support two community dinners, the Toyota team gave many of our regular volunteers the opportunity to take a well-deserved break, knowing our guests were in caring and capable hands. It was a meaningful reminder that when businesses invest their time in the community, they also support the people who make these programs possible week after week.

To the team at Toyota: thank you for your incredible generosity, investment, and commitment to driving change. Your partnership helps us build a stronger, more connected community, and we’re so grateful for the support of your team.
