Our Co-Executive Directors and Board had the opportunity to join Capacity Canada’s Board Governance BootCamp last week. We opened the conference with an incredible honour: receiving an award from the Bhayana Family Foundation in recognition of Kinbridge’s work addressing youth unemployment.
From listening to Arlene Dickinson’s inspiring keynote to participating in thought-provoking seminars on courageous leadership and sector-wide collaboration, our team left feeling energized and future-focused. Key takeaways included the importance of leading with vision, strengthening partnerships across the nonprofit sector, and keeping our mission at the centre of every decision we make.
Every neighbour deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we are committed to supporting Cambridge in critical areas such as newcomer support, youth employment, and food security, just to name a few. Upstream and community-driven approaches remain our pathway to building a stronger future for all.
Thank you to Capacity Canada for bringing us together once again and for creating space to dream bigger, deepen relationships, and continue building a more connected and resilient community.
