At Kinbridge Community Association, building connections is at the heart of what we do. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of newcomer students from Monsignor Doyle, thanks to the enthusiastic support of their ESL teacher. It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to get a firsthand look at our Newcomer Outreach program, explore our services, ask questions, and see how they can get involved.
The visit turned out to be an incredibly meaningful experience. The students left feeling more informed and supported, knowing they have access to resources that can help them thrive in their new community. One of the standout moments was seeing how many of them were excited to join our ice skating program.
We’re also thrilled to share that several students have become regular participants in our programs and are even giving back by volunteering, earning their community hours while making a positive impact.
We are so grateful to Monsignor Doyle’s ESL teacher for fostering this connection and to the students for their enthusiasm and willingness to get involved. This kind of community spirit is what makes Kinbridge such a special place.
