At Kinbridge, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can find a sense of belonging. On December 7th, we had the joy of hosting our annual ‘Breakfast with Santa’ at Kinbridge Community Association. This heartwarming event, held at 200 Christopher Drive from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., brought together 461 attendees, to enjoy a hot pancake breakfast, photo with Santa, and holiday themed activities. It’s one of those events that has become a beloved tradition for families to connect and celebrate the season.
The event offered something for everyone—a delicious pancake breakfast, fun holiday crafts and games, and the opportunity for professional photos with Santa, complete with instant prints for each family. We were also treated to a live performance by Juno-nominated singer songwriter Marie Bottrell, who graced us with holiday classics, adding a magical touch to the morning.
Thanks to generous toy donations from the Salvation Army and Knights of Columbus, 268 children and youth were able to receive gifts from Santa’s Kinbridge helpers. We were also able to collect 72 food items for our food cupboard.
If you haven’t yet received your holiday photo, please reach out! We’ll be happy to email it to you or have it ready for pickup (info@kinbridge.ca).
