Our Largest Neighbourhood Day Yet!

A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors, partners, volunteers, staff, entertainers, and vendors. You helped make this year’s Neighbourhood Day and Newcomer Picnic truly special. Thanks to your support, 928 community members joined us at Churchill Park for a day filled with connection, celebration, and joy. 💛

This year, we joined forces with Greenway Chaplin Community Centre to create something even bigger and better. By combining our efforts, we were able to provide free transportation from two neighbourhoods, helping more people take part in the fun.

And what a day it was.

We shared a delicious free barbecue and cooled off with ice-cold lemonade and ice cream. There were games, prizes, a bouncy castle, and so many fun activities for all ages.

The entertainment lineup brought the energy. Liam Hoff and the Heavy Hitters filled the park with great music, while Levant Canada and Top Level Taekwondo wowed the crowd with dynamic performances.

There was also henna, face painting, and a vibrant vendor market featuring jewelry, art, essential oils, and handmade lotions from local creators in our community.

It was a day to connect, unwind, and celebrate the amazing neighbourhoods we all call home.
