Dear Kinbridge Community,
In a time when the world feels more divided than ever, it is both a challenge and an opportunity for our community to come closer together. To our 2SLGBTQAI+ members, we see you, we hear you, and you are always welcome here at Kinbridge.
As a member of the 2SLGBTQAI+ community myself, the past few weeks have been disheartening and stressful. We’ve seen moments where political leaders have failed to represent the inclusivity and care our community deserves. Their role should be to foster unity, not division. Unfortunately, political rhetoric has too often become a weapon that drives us apart instead of bringing us together.
It is time for Cambridge to rise above this. It is time for us, as neighbours, friends, and fellow community members, to set an example. Regardless of how you vote or where your political beliefs lie, our strength as a community comes from standing together, supporting one another, and ensuring that everyone has equitable access to meet their basic needs and a caring network to rely on.
At Kinbridge, we remain deeply committed to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. These values are not just principles on paper—they are the foundation of who we are. We celebrate every individual who walks through our doors, and we are proud to be a space in Cambridge where people can show up as their full, authentic selves—no matter their identity, background, or political view.
Hateful rhetoric and actions that undermine anyone’s humanity have no place here. As an organization, we stand with every member of our community today and every day, ready to serve, support, and uplift.
Together, we are stronger.
With gratitude,
Taylor Bulstrode
